I have published a number of peer reviewed papers (journal, conference and workshop) and book chapters in the areas of psychology (implict learning, tacit knowledge), computer-based learning, cognitive science, cognitive ergonomics, human computer interaction (HCI), computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), pervasive/ubiquitous computing, collaborative virtual environments and virtual reality.

I have edited several journal special issues, conference proceedings and books, written a number of draft papers, position statements for panels and unfinished thought pieces, and have given presentations on various topics.

A selection of my current and upcoming publications is listed below.

In addition to publishing papers, I have served on the editorial board of a number of journals, including the International Journal of Human Computer Studies, the Journal of Network and Computer Applications, and the online Journal of Computer Mediated Studies.

Journal reviewing includes the Communications of the Association of Computing Machinery (CACM), Human Computer Interaction, the Journal of Network and Computer Applications, the Journal of Human Computer Studies, Journal of Computer Mediated Communications, ACM's Transactions on Human Computer Interaction (TOCHI), the Encyclopedia of Information Systems, IEEE Internet Computing, and the journal Virtual Reality.

I am a regular reviewer and committee member for a number of conferences including the Association of Computing Machinery's Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Group, MultiMedia, Designing for the User Experience (DUX), Computer Human Interaction (CHI) and User Interface Systems and Technology (UIST). I have also reviewed for the Ubicomp (Ubiquitous Computing) and Pervasive conferences.
